1. How long have you been skating for DOI?
2 1/2 years.

2. How did you get into figure skating?
I began skating at 2 years old. My mother was a skating coach so I was immersed in the skating world since before I can remember! I began by doing it just for fun, but I later fell in love with it so much and began taking lessons and competing.

3. What do you think are some similarities between you and Elsa?
Elsa is strong, confident and unafraid. I hope to have those qualities! I understand how she has fears but is able to overcome them and fight to be her true self. I identify with that and try to be as strong as she is every day!

4. What physical and emotional preparations do you go through to get into character?
Before I perform I like to harness Elsa’s positive and negative energies so I can really make sure the audience can feel her emotions properly. It is also so important to be warmed up and prepared physically so I can give my best performance on the ice.

5. What do you hope audiences can take away from Disney On Ice celebrates Everyone’s Story in Singapore?
I hope the show brings joy and laughter to everyone in the audience. That is why we do what we do! I hope the stories we portray bring everyone back to their favorite classics that we all love. Most importantly I hope to see everyone smiling and singing along. Hope to see you there!

6. What is your favorite part about playing Elsa and why?
I love the strong change in Elsa’s character. She starts out so timid and scared. She is so afraid of what she might do with her unpredictable powers. As the story goes on, she builds up the courage to let go and be herself. The emotional ups and downs are very fun and challenging to play.

7. What is one of your fondest memories of Disney On Ice?
I will never forget my very first show. I was so nervous. The energy was so great in the building. I remember stepping out for my first scene and all my nerves went away! I felt so ready and ended up having the best time. Moments like this still happen for me. Each show feels different and I’m always making new memories on the ice.

8. What advice would you have for younger girls who aspire to be like Elsa?
Elsa overcame her fears and knew it was best to be herself and let go. Be your true and authentic self always!
